Treatment and Prevention Programme
Link has been involved with Deep Griha Society in southern India for 15 years. Volunteers with Link have contributed their skills towards English programmes, nutrition schemes and community healthcare initiatives and Link in Scotland regularly raises funds to sponsor some of these.

Deep Griha have recently launched an integrated, community based approach to the HIV/AIDS problem in India. This provides education about HIV as well as medication and holistic care for those affected. The programme has proved effective and as a result a partnership has been set up with a nearby state where an HIV awareness camp was recently held. Link sponsored the event, which was a big success and helped raise awareness of the growing problem.

Link also aims to raise a significant annual sum to help with funding the HIV/AIDS programme. This is achieved through various fundraising and sponsored events which are ongoing throughout the year.
